Safety Alert

The MH 3000 Virginia Control elevator has a potential risk of circuits being bypassed by wire strands or other conductive debris to the bottom connections on relay board MH-5.

a wire strand fell on to pins 5X, 6, 7 and 7X causing all hall doors to be bypassed and allowing the car to run with hoistway doors open. With the pins being raised, it allows this potential hazard to occur. If a replacement board is ordered, the pins are now recessed to prevent such a hazard. The new board is MH-5A.
